The Wet Tropics World Heritage Area is a haven for nature lovers as it offers an incredible array of plant and animal species. Here you can trek through misty mountains, swim in pristine waterfalls, and encounter tree kangaroos, platypuses, and vibrant birds.

Located just offshore from Townsville, the stunning natural landscape Magnetic Island is home to a range of eucalyptus woodlands, rocky shores, and secluded beaches. You can explore the national park here and spot koalas taking a nap or watch rock wallabies hopping among boulders.
